LOUISIANA CAFE

RE-BRANDING —  IDENTITY SYSTEM, STATIONERY

The goal with this branding project was to pick a Saint Paul non-chain breakfast cafe that I could research and successfully rebrand. My personal familiarity with the cafe and its customers helped determine, and define the demographics that I would work with to further help the process of picking out fonts and colors. After looking further into the roots of the Louisiana Cafe, and the historic side of Saint Paul, I added colors that would liven up the logo as well as fonts that would modernize and creatively impact the rebrand. Through research on historic symbols and art movements in relation to St. Paul and Louisiana, I picked the fleur de lis as the core inspiration for the final rendition of the logo.
